NOTE: The Shaylyn International Dance Festival will not take place this year 2010

The Shaylyn International Dance Festival will take place from the 7th to the 9th of September 2007 in Ballinamore, Co Leitrim, Ireland. The festival will include workshops in Irish Dance and Music, live performances from international guests the Gujarat Art Academy, India as well as the full 2 hour show by Shaylyn - A history of Irish Dance through the ages!

International dance acts interested in participating in the festival this year or next year can apply by contacting us with their details. Participating acts must travel to Ireland at their own expense but will be provided with accommodation, meals and transport once here.

International people interested in attending the festival and taking part in the workshops or master classes in Irish Dance should contact us for information on getting here/value packages for accommodation etc.

9pm Social Set Dancing Night in Commercial Hotel led by Gerard Butler & Performance by members of the Gujurat Dance Academy, India

10am - Irish Dance for Adult/Teen Improvers/Advanced @ The Shaylyn Centre
11am - Hip Hop for 5 - 10 yr olds in the Community Centre with Dr. Rumba!
11am - Flamenco with Maltese Jenny Vassalo for Adults/Teens @ The Shaylyn Centre
12 noon - Flamenco with Maltese Jenny Vassalo for kids @ The Commercial Hotel
12 noon - Hip Hop for 11 - 18 yr olds with Dr. Rumba in the Community Centre
12 noon - Salsa for Adults & Teens - The Commercial Hotel
